Droplet Falling | Procedural | Arnold
Ten years ago, I probably watched the RealFlow showreel while studying 2D animation. Seven years ago, I attempted to replicate it using RealFlow. It seems like RealFlow was a significant deal back then, right?
Anyway, after all these years, thanks to cloud backup, I retrieved some long-lost files, which brought back a lot of memories. I decided to give it another shot, this time using Houdini. I tried to maintain everything as it was before. Last time, I used KeyShot for rendering, but this time, everything was done within Houdini, with rendering done in Arnold and compositing in Nuke.
Surprisingly, the models and textures still hold up to date, I suppose.
The setup employs the same methodology to simulate the droplets that Lobão created. A big thank you to him for generously providing the file for a fraction of the cost.

Important
This product does not feature a video tutorial.
My products don't include filecache & renders mainly because its always a lot of disk space and I don't store them for long, so you will need to run the sim(s) & render it. This product is sold as is, it doesn't include support after the purchase.
Extremly Important
This does not include the droplet shape used in this setup. Please visit lobao.art.br for that.
